Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson was born on April 15, 1990 in Oxford, England, but now presently lives in Oxfordshire, England with her mother, Jacqueline, and brother Alex Watson. She was the daughter of Jacqueline and Chris Watson, but now they are divorced. She is famous for her role of Hermione Granger in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, her first movie ever. She is now working on the sequel Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.
This young british star got discovered when she tried out for the role 6 times! But before she was even in the movie, she did quite a few theatrical productions at her school. Her drama director heard that they were having tryouts for the role of Hermione, and specifically asked her to take a chance. She laughed at this, but then realized it was serious. I think she did a wonderful job, and that's why I made this fan page :) She is my favorite young actress and I am hoping I can meet her one day!
